Hello everyone, it’s Pierrick. Here are the different people involved in a football match in French. There are “the strikers” who we are going to call “les attaquants”. Then there are “the midfielders” who we are going to call “les milieux de terrains”. Then there are “the defenders” who we are going to call “les défenseurs”. We obviously are going to have “the goalkeeper” who we are going to call “le gardien” or “le goal”. We are going to use the English word “goal”. We obviously are going to have “the manager”, who we are going to call “l’entraîneur” or: “le coach”. We are going to use the English word “coach”. We obviously are going to have: “the substitutes” who we are going to call: “les remplaçants”. We are going to have: “the referees” who we are going to call “les arbitres”. And of course, we are going to have: “the team” who we are going to call “l’équipe”. Press the thumbs up button if you like this video, and subscribe to my channel for more content like this!

  1. Bonjour, je suis irlandais. J'apprends le francais et j'aime tes videos. Ce video est tres utile. Merci beaucoup pour les mots d'un match de foot.

  2. I think this video would have been much better if you had explained what each word meant in French, rather than using English.
