Hey guys, this is Massimo from best
soccer tricks dot com. Now, I’ll be going over top 4 dribbling moves you need to
know. Alright guys, so the first dribbling move you need to know is going to be the
step over. So basically the whole aspect of the step over is to fake your
defender into going one way and then you take off the other way. So I’ll show you
the movement now static so basically what it is is when you’re approaching
the defender you’re heading straight on and you’re going to go over the ball as if
you’re about to hit it one way so I’ll show you that again. You’re going one way and
then take off the other way. So the whole point of that again is to fake your
defender into thinking you’re going to the left by making that step
over move and then exploding the other way and take it off. So I’ll head it
right here into my defender again you’re heading straight on to him, you’re
running straight at him, you’re going, you’re going… One and two I’ll show you guys again Straight on, straight, one and explode. [Soccer player demonstrating dribbling moves] So, obviously you can add on to this the
step-over that’s the beauty of it you can add two fakes to it. So if you really
want to get your defender off guard even more, you can do, one, too and then take
off. So again, it’s the same aspect it’s just you’re adding an extra step over to
get your defender off guard even more so you do one two and then take off. So I’ll
show you that in real time So you’re going, you’re going, one, two
and take off. One more time…
Again, head straight into your defender straight to him. One, two and take off. So the second dribble move you need to know is it’s kind of a it’s close to the step over
but instead you’re using a ball roll. So just to show you guys what a soccer ball roll is
when you place your foot on top of the ball you’re rolling that’s a ball roll. So
you’re placing your foot on top of the ball roll. So basically that’s the
first part of the move so like the step over, you want to make sure you want to
try to get your defender going one way and you take off the other way. So you’re
going over to him, ball roll and go the other way. I’ll show you guys that once again.
It’s a motion like this, going over, ball roll and take off the other way. I’ll show you
now against the defender once again you’re heading straight to the defender
head on, you’re going, you’re going… Ball roll and go the other way. What’s important about these moves as well when you’re doing dribble
moves, is really put your body into it. You want to fake the defender not only
with not only what your feet put your body motion. You want to show that your
body’s going one way and then you want to explode the other way to really catch
the defender off guard. You’re going to see this as I’m performing this move. [Soccer player doing a dribbling move] My body is leaning one way as if I’m
going to go to the left and then I take off to the right to catch my defender
off guard. One more time. [Soccer dribbling done by a player] So the next dribble move you need to know, basically you’re hitting
what’s gonna be doing is you’re gonna be hitting the ball one way and you’re
going to be taking off the other way. Now in this drill the whole aspect of it is
basically is you want to kind of throw the defender off because you’ll be you
know just touching it slightly one side and taking off the other side. So it’s
going to kind of play mind games with the defender. Will he go after the ball or
will he try to chase you? This is always something that was really successful
personally for me and I’ll show you guys right now. So what’s important about this
is you don’t want to hit it too far as you’re approaching the defender you
want to be able to reach it. So you’re going to hit it on the other way and you’re
taking off on him and then meeting the ball where you took it. So I’ll show that
again so you’re heading straight on to your defender obviously you’re sprinting and
he’s facing you so you have that advantage already taking off, so if you
put it to one side take off the other side you’re going to meet that ball with
ease. So I’ll show you guys again right now. Right here, and take off the other side. You’ll have that step over your defender.
Make sure again you hit it a reasonable distance in front so you’ll be able to
meet it in stride but also you don’t want to hit it too far that you don’t
meet it or that you don’t put enough power onto it so that the defender is
able to just reach it with his foot. So I’ll show you guys again, heading straight
into the defender, move the other side, boom. [Soccer player demonstrating dribbling moves] And your through on goal. Alright guys so the fourth and final dribbling move you need
to know is what we like to say in French “The roulette”. The whole gist of this
dribbling move is basically now instead of heading directly towards your
defender you’re going to be slightly heading to slightly to an angle, you’ll
be heading to slightly at an angle so that’s when you make the rollover
which I’ll show you guys right now you’re heading towards an angle,
you’ve got the foot, you’ve got the ball here with your foot roll it back and
take off the other way. I’ll show you guys again. It’s important to you go slightly at an angle.
So, if I’m going this way right foot, roll it backwards, left foot
roll the other way. This move can be very useful, again throwing your defender off, you’re heading towards
them at an angle then you make that certain turn. It’s two quick movements so
that it’s just it’s right away one two and you take off. So I’ll show
you guys now in real time to see what it looks like. So again, I’m heading at an angle,
rollover and take off. And again you see how I’m heading
one way the defenders that are following me there two quick movements and I’m
already in the other direction and I’m gone. One more time. Here we go, headed,
headed and take off. So I hope you enjoyed the
