Hello everyone. I′m Steven Choi with the
sports brief. South Korea is headed to their first Women′s
World Cup in 12 years, and on Tuesday, Korea′s football body laid out its preparation roadmap.
The Korea Football Association announced several tune-up matches running up to the World Cup
kickoff on June 6th. They′ll take part in the 12-nation Cyprus
Cup from March 4th. Then, they face Russia twice at home on April
4th and 8th for their first official friendly matches in Korea in 17 years.
To top it off, they′ll face the 2nd-ranked USA team on May 30th.
The training will help them towards their goal of reaching the round of 16 at the global
competition.
