Roberto Firmino has hit back at Roy Keane after the former Manchester United captain criticised players from Liverpool and the Red Devils for “hugging and kissing” prior to their clash at Old Trafford on Sunday  The Brazilian caught up with countrymen Andreas Pereira and Fred before the match, along with Reds teammate Fabinho  Goalkeepers David de Gea and Alisson also greeted each other, as did England pals Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold  Keane said on Sky Sports: “I’m disgusted with the players. You’re going to war, they’re hugging and kissing  “Don’t even look at the opposition. You’re going into battle against them. The game hasn’t changed that much The players have changed!  “Chat to them after the game. Or don’t even chat to them after the game ”  But Firmino has played down the pre-match pleasantries, telling ESPN Brazil: “I don’t want to create controversy with anyone  “I find it quite normal before the game to greet each other, ask how they are doing That’s all. Nothing more than that.  “But on the pitch, they aren’t friends, each one defends his club to the best of his ability Then the rivalry increases on the pitch.”  The spoils were shared on an afternoon of VAR controversy at the Theatre of Dreams, with Adam Lallana’s late strike cancelling out Marcus Rashford’s first-half opener
