Porto vs Basel (4-0) 10.03.15 | Champions League Football Match Preview and Predictions

Hi this is Natalie Rydstrom from SBRpicks.com
now Porto and Basel kick off their Round 16 Champions League’s 2nd leg fixture on Tuesday.
The first leg ended in a 1 all tie, but with the hosts missing their star striker Jackson
Martinez due to a thigh muscle tear, could this spell the end of their Champions League
dream for the year? Stuart from talking tipsters joins us now to preview the match and at the
end give us his top tip for the game. Stuart thank you for being here today. Hi
Natalie. Porto who lead with an away goal, are huge favorites in this match priced 1.5,
the draw is priced 4.33 and Basel are priced longer at 8 at Bet365 – As Porto are without
Martinez, is there value in either the away win or playing the double chance bet Basel
and the draw and that comes in at 2.85 888sport? There’s probably a small amount of value in
that you know Jackson Martinez is pretty important to the way they play but I think Porto one
or both sides is always preparing for a player to leave so they’ve probably got someone who
can just come in take his place and almost do just as well so I wouldn’t be writing Porto
off just yet they’ve done extremely well in the Champions League this year. They’re unbeaten
in their 2014-15 Champions League and if you look back at the ball side of things they
have actually won in their last three Champions League features. Well 1.5 is obviously low
just for as far as a straight bet there but are they your favorites to win? I think they
might just nick it but it’s going to be a very very tight game. I think this one could
potentially go to extra time, it could be a 1 all draw in extra time maybe even penalties.
The line for the total goals market is pretty neck and neck. 888sport offers the best odds
for the over 2.5 that’s priced 1.9 and Bet365 offers the best odds for the under and that’s
priced 1.95. Do you have a lean here? To me this one is more likely to go over than under
but it’s very very tight as you can see from the bookies. Alright so maybe we want to skip
there. What other markets should we consider for this match? Looking around potentially
at the Porto win but I really wasn’t very happy with the odds available there especially
with Jackson Martinez being out I thought they might just be a little bit higher but
they’re still very low and I think that’s worth ignoring that one I think. Run us through
your predictions, Stuart, for the match. Well my predictions for this one is actually Basel
+1 in the Asian handicap market so you can get that at 2.29 with Pinnacle right now and
if you manage to get a 1 all draw as I think it may be, that one will come in for us. Ok fantastic.
