>>THERE’S A LOT OF GREAT TRADITIONS HERE. IF YOU’VE BEEN TO A HOME GAME THEN YOU KNOW WHAT OUR JACK IN THE BOX BACKSTORY IS ALL ABOUT. YEAH, THE MARCHING BAND LET OUR CAMERA TAG ALONG. >>OUR BAND, GROUP GOES DOWNTOWN AND PLAYS IN THE BARS AND BASICALLY GETTING THE SPIRIT OF BAND OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY. >>BAR BANDS STARTED I WANT TO SAY IN 2005, 2006. THE IDEA WAS THAT WE’RE A PRETTY SMALL TOWN AND PRETTY ISOLATED FROM THE BIG CITIES, AND SO PEOPLE COME IN TOWN THE NIGHT BEFORE THE GAME. >>IT’S A FUN EXPERIENCE BECAUSE YOU GET TO CONNECT CLOSER WITH THE PEOPLE. >>AT THIS POINT, IT’S EVERYBODY KNOWS DOWNTOWN, AND YOU’RE GOING TO GET A BAND COMING THROUGH IF YOU’RE AT CERTAIN ESTABLISHMENTS. THE ESTAB LUSHMENT KNOW WE’RE COMING THROUGH. AND THE PEOPLE GO TO THOSE ESTABLISHMENTS BECAUSE THEY HAPPEN WE’RE COMING THROUGH. >>IT’S FUNNY WHEN PEOPLE ARE ON THEIR PHONES. IT WAS FUNNY BECSE ONE LADY HAD A CAT IN A BAG, AND SHE WAS LIKE DON’T PLAY. DON’T PLAY. I HAVE A CAT. AND SHE RAN AWAY. IT WAS KIND OF FUNNY. >>WE BRING A SMALL GROUP, 25, 26 PEOPLE, SMALL ENOUGH WE CAN BRING INSIDE THE PLACES. SOME OF THE PLACES ARE PRETTY SMALL THOUGH, SO IT’S TIGHT.
