THE Nou Camp could be closed for a match as the bitter row between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid over Antoine Griezmann’s transfer escalates, according to reports  Atleti complained to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), claiming that Barca were in contact with the forward when his release clause was £177million  That figure dropped on July 1 and 11 days later Barcelona completed the signing of Griezmann for the new fee of £107 6m.  Barcelona have already been fined £266 for breaking articles 88 and 126 of the RFEF Disciplinary Code  But now, as revealed by El Mundo, Juantxo Landaberea, the judge working for the RFEF’s Competition Committee, wants to see Barcelona punished with a stadium closure  It would mean the Catalan giants would be forced to play one game behind closed doors  However, the proposal still needs to be passed through a full and proper legal procedure  It is currently being looked into by the investigating judge after Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil got hold of an important email – crucially sent in March  In the email sent by his lawyer Sevan Karian to Griezmann’s sister and representative Maud as well as their father Alain, the details of Griezmann’s move to the Nou Camp are described  Atletico are hopeful that is enough evidence to prove Barcelona were in contact with the star and have therefore broken Fifa regulations surrounding transfers and clubs speaking to contracted players  However, according to AS, the Spanish FA think it is highly unlikely the one-match ban would actually go through  On the field, meanwhile, Griezmann is beginning to gel with his new team-mates. Watch Antoine Griezmann’s glittery celebration after scoring his second goal for Barcelona against Real Betis  He bagged twice and grabbed an assist against Real Betis last month before setting up another in the 5-2 win over Valencia at the weekend  Barcelona are currently fifth in La Liga, two points and three places behind Atletico – with Sevilla currently top of the table  They begin their hunt for a first Champions League triumph since 2015 when they take on Borussia Dortmund in Germany tonight
