AND IN THE INTAKE SECTION OF THE JAIL. SOME BIG CHANGES TO TELL YOU ABOUT FOR STUDENTS IN THE AM BRIDGE SCHOOL DISTRICT. TONIGHT IS THEIR HOMECOMING. NOT EVERYONE WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE FOOTBALL GAME. THAT’S BECAUSE SCHOOL OFFICIALS HAVE NOTICED A REAL PROBLEM LATELY AND NOW THEY’RE DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. BOB EXPLAINS WHAT IS GOING ON. Reporter: THE SCHOOL BOARD AND POLICE HAVE A SOLUTION FOR DEALING WITH STUDENTS WHO BEHAVE BADLY AT HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAMES STARTING TONIGHT, THEY’RE IMPLEMENTING A NEW POLICY THAT COULD CATCH ON WITH OTHER SCHOOL DISTRICTS. IT WILL BE ANOTHER EXCITING FOOTBALL GAME BUT THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT IN THE STANDS AT THE STADIUM. CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM UNTIL THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN. WE WANT IT TO BE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR EVERYONE ATTENDING. THIS SHOULD BE LIKE A FAMILY AFFAIR. PARENTS SHOULD COME TO THE GAMES AND SUPPORT THEIR FOOTBALL TEAM. IT’S A NEW RULE THAT TAKES EFFECT DURING TONIGHT’S HOMECOMING GAME. TOO MANY YOUNGER CHILDREN WERE ROAMING THROUGH THE STADIUM UNSUPERVISED DURING GAMES SOME JR. HIGH KIDS, SOME OF THE LITTLER KIDS WERE RUNNING AROUND THE STANDS, NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE GAME, NOT SITTING DOWN. AN ELDERLY FEMALE WAS KNOCKED DOWN AND INJURED BY KIDS RUNNING AROUND. THE SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT WITNESSED THE INCIDENT. THE CHIEF SAYS THAT THE RULE SHOULD HAVE BEEN PASSED BACK IN THE ’90. PARENTS LIKE THE NEW POLICY. IT’S A GOOD RULE. YOU HAVE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT ARE KIDNAPPING KIDS AND EVERYTHING ELSE, IT’S A VERY GOOD RULE. Reporter: VINCE AGREES IT’S A MATTER OF SAFETY. UNDER 12, THEY REALLY SHOULDN’T BE AT THE GAMES BY THEMSELVES ANYWAY. Reporter: I DID SPEAK WITH SEVERAL OTHER SCHOOL DISTRICTS, MOON AND MOUNT LEBANON AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE NO SUCH POLICY IN EFFECT. IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE
