Music plays Lewis Ward kicks the ball [Ward] Our defense needs to continue the way they’re going. Our special teams need to produce when we step onto the field. And that our offense just needs to put points on the board. If we put all three together on the field and be good, I think that we can be competitive with any team in this country. [Harry] We’ve got to keep doing our jobs, keep doing what our coach told us to do. Don’t try to be a hero, just like you’re 112. Just keep balling and keep being a Gee-Gee. We did what we had to do. We came in, we won and we left. [Ffrench] Just bringing that great intensity… I think we’ll be fine against Queen’s, but if we do that then… …moving forward as well. [Lubin speaks in French] It’s Monday, September 4. It’s our home opener. It’s a big game against Queen’s. Last year it was close. This year looks promising too. So be there. There will be a lot of freshmen, a lot of new players. It’s a new team. So we hope to see you. It’s going to be a great game on September 4. [Ffrench] The season is just starting. People are just coming in. People are just trying to figure out what’s new about uOttawa and all that. You get all the fans there, the stands are packed, the alumni comes in. We have a huge alumni following. It’s always nice to see those guys come through. We have a bunch of additions we made to our team, a bunch of new equipment and all that, so it’s great to see. When everyone comes in, we can say hi, you can see us play. Just more the more the merrier. It’s great. [Lubin speaks in French] Last year, my first home opener for the Gee-Gees was intense. The stands were packed. There were no seats left. People were standing outside the fence. That experience had a lasting impact on me. This year, I am very lucky to play again in front of you with the Gee-Gees, my teammates. I hope that you will not miss this experience because it looks very promising and it is a great way to get to know your university and to meet other people. The home opener is really something that is important for me and the Gee-Gees. Logotype of uOttawa Gee-Gees
